The Wanted Bird
She's been a single bird since training. She was at the top of her gun training class. She was able to stay alive as a loner bird since she was seven. Even though older teams usually took her out for missions she always felt alone. The only team that kept tabs on her was the Toma team. They trained her. They know how she can function. Zoe froze as a loud squawk sounded ahead of her. She looked down to the ground were she followed a blood trail. The dragon had stepped on something sharp as it fleed from Zoe. The poor thing, I just want to help. Zoe walked forward as quietly as she could. She could hear the exhausted breaths of the white dragon. Zoe approached it quietly, but failed to not be noticed. The dragon instantly lifted its head in Zoe's direction, but laid it back down with a deep exhale. Zoe could see the blood oozing from the deep wound in its talon. Zoe approached it and kneeled down next to it. The dragon curled its tail tightly around itself. Zoe kneeled for a second in awe. Never once had she seen a white dragon. It was like seeing a ghost, which the dragon was just as quiet as one. She looked at the bright purple on its wings, it reminded her of the flowers the petunias. "You're very pretty, like a petunia." Zoe spoke to the dragon softly. The dragon's ears perked up and it chirped softly at the word petunia. "Petunia?" Zoe questioned the dragon. The dragon cooed softly. "I'm Zoe." She introduced herself.Complete

Dragons live on most of the land, and with the human population growing, the humans and the dragons are at war. Adelaide is a fourteen year old girl. She goes to school like every other kid. Her dad even fights in the war. But with her abusive mother, she has trouble knowing whether the humans are actually doing the right thing by killing as many dragons as possible. Oliver is a FireEyes dragon who can't even blow fire like the other FireEyes. His father, a member of the Council, thinks of him as a huge disgrace. His mother, who is an outcast because she got divorced from Oliver's father, hardly lets Oliver out of the house because she is worried he might get hurt. One day, Adelaide sees a carrier pigeon with a letter addressed to her. It flies away when she tries to pick it up and the pigeon leads her to the edge of human territory, which is about seven miles from her home. She then bumps into Oliver, who becomes her best friend. When her mother discovers she is writing letters to a dragon, she kicks Adelaide out. Little does she know that she kicked Adelaide out just as the Council was planning an attack on Adelaide's city. Adelaide and Oliver must find the Parliament of Peace and get them to help Adelaide's home town. Can they help stop the war in time to save both of their families from being killed by the other species?Complete
