Eros: Ancient Greek: (ἔρως) érōs "love" or "desire".
At times the source of the arrows was said to be the image of the beautiful love object itself. If these arrows were to arrive at the lover's eyes, they would then travel to and 'pierce' or 'wound' his or her heart and overwhelm him/her with desire and longing.

In the affairs of the heart there are plenty of different ways, some are found from people from your past, perhaps some new people making their way into your heart. You may find love even if you are or aren't looking for it, that special someone, your other half will eventually make his way to you, some call this Eros' stray arrows, but you may know Eros by his roman name, cupid, these arrows land on the people who are bounded to be together, but be wary Eros isn't just the god of love, he is also the god of lust.
