But he didn't have to carry that weight on his own any longer. Sometimes family wasn't linked by blood. Sometimes a brother comes when you least expect it. Sometimes adventure comes when you step out by faith. Sometimes family is all you have Sometimes love leads to pain. But I'd embrace the pain all over again for him. Because really, we were all that he had.
