The words, 'I want you', are hooking to my throat. It's silent, too silent. He shakes his head and I try to say what I mean but it's too late. He's walking away.

One decision can change your life. Caroline Sutton knows this firsthand.

Caroline is on the fast track with the only thing on her mind being to graduate and get out of this deadbeat town. She can't be attached to anything or anyone that would make her want to stay. She keeps to herself, which is why it is all that more surprising when she meets genuine and electric Ted who makes her want to talk, talk about things she's kept from everyone else.

However the start of her senior year does not go without mishap, which can ruin what she's worked so hard to accomplish.
