When Valissa McAdams was only 9, she was discovered by the Searchers, werewolves with the job of finding humans that may have a powerful mate. She was kidnapped and brought to the Acadamy, where humans and werewolves with the potential of having powerful mates are taken. They are prepared by the Instructors to be powerful figures within their mate's pack, depending on their mate's rank. Then, every year, the girls ages 16 and up must go to the Anual ABG Ball, where all Alphas, Betas, and Gammas attend in hopes to find their mate. The only problem is, Valissa hates being ordered around, and doesn't take no for an answer. So, when she turns 16 and is forced to attend the annual ball, she is ticked. And When she finds her mate, Dallas, the alpha of the Darkshadow pack, she is furious. Fun times...
