"What?" I could almost hear his hear break. The tears instantly began to flow from his hurting, blue eyes. 
"No, don't cry, please." I said, hugging him tight. I could feel him trying to wipe away the tears before they wet my gown, but it was no use. I began to cry also. My heart hurt for him. I knew it was tough for him. It was tough for everyone. I made a pact, right then to never give up. I would keep pushing until I couldn't anymore. 
"We'll get through this together." I said, kissing the top of his head lightly.
