Giyuu has been suffering mentally, and emotionally has not been doing well. It's been rough, and he's been feeling more down when there's another Water Hashira. He thinks maybe he's not cut out for this after all, it was supposed to be him that died. I forget to mention this but this is a rewrite and the old version has been deleted. tomioka giyuu 20 years old his the water hashira for 2 years now, everyone thinks he must be living his best life, i mean being a hashira means he gets paid a lot of money and he can support his family but in reality his sick and tired of everything all he wants to do right now is go and jump off a cliff his had those suicidal thoughts since he was 13 but now with his life as a hashira those thoughts are becoming stronger and stronger and his starting to give up on life.
