"Nothing lasts forever." 

The world used to be at peace. But when the Five Beacons of Power, the Elteria, were mysteriously taken from their Shrines, that 'perfect' scale of harmony and violence was tipped over. 

In a country called Reldrel, a young man named Argent is sent out on a seemingly impossible rescue mission concerning the Elteria. Accompanied by the King's son, Prince, the two have to find a way to restore the balance of Mankind before the whole continent falls into complete ruin and desolation. But with an unknown deadline, unknown allies, and unknown enemies, the probability of both success and failure are blotted out by drops of ink. 

But do not worry, dear readers. In this subject we know as 'History', shall we see how many lives Fate has to take before the world collapses at its feet?
