I was lost.

I needed his help.

*****

This girl who likes to call herself "Miller" makes it a quest to find her parents once she graduates high school. She wanted to see through the fog that has always been her past and find out the reason why they gave up on her seventeen years ago.

Down the road which she had assumed leads to the end of her journey, she stumbles upon the "socially impaired" Christopher Wilkins. "I was lost. I needed his help" was what she thought first when she met him.

Drayton Lahey is the bad boy quarterback from football royalty who's completely wrong for her; at least, that's what she tells herself. Sparks fly in all directions when Dallas and Dray are around each other, but the longer she tells herself she doesn't need him, the quicker she realizes it might be time to forget about what she needs-and go after what she wants.
