Hidden Away

After two years of finally being able to live an honest life, an act of self defense leaves Cassidy, only 19, a killer. Standing over a dead body in the alleyway, she has two options: Run, or turn herself in.

For fear the authorities will discover her involvement in previous unsolved cases, she runs. But in order to escape her past, she must revisit it. This includes acquiring help from the person that first made her into the criminal she became; Devin Schroeder.

Just his name makes Cassidy shudder and gives her butterflies all at the same time. He was out of her life for a reason, but she soon realizes maybe he never left. Devin knows more about their past, their present, and even the current situation than he's letting on, and he has no intention of telling Cassidy what it is.

Well, other than she has a target on her head... And it is NOT from the police. For her own protection, she must remain hidden away, trusting the one she swore she would never be able to trust again, and his new gang of friends (one of which hates Cassidy's guts, and the other who likes her a little too much). She can't figure out who is friend and foe. But one thing is crystal clear... she can't trust anyone. If she does, she might just wind up dead.
