Paving Roads is probably my most original story. Because of this I can't even begin to describe it. It started off as a simple story of a family, then turned into a tragedy when they were split apart. After that it's seen it's days as a romance, a horror story, a mystery, suspense, and even science fiction (my brother's work) . And now, after at least ten years since the thought of the story came into my mind, it's here. The characters have stayed the same, but the plot has changed, contorted, and thickened from the idea that first entered my childhood mind. So there we go. Paving Roads.

''When I was younger, they described life to me as a road. A road you have to walk down, despite any cracks and bumps. But this life I'm living now has so many, that.... well, let's just say it needs some serious paving.''

NOTE: Paving roads is set in Veronaville and Strangetown from the game 'The Sims 2' , and includes some game characters that you may recognize.  I tried my best to get around this, but there was no way I could change these details without completely destroying the plot-line. They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. But I didn't care because when I turned twenty I finally got to start making my own choices. This is where I wonder if the first choice I made was the right one. The first choice I made was to go live off-campus with my grandmother during my first semester in college. I ask myself how could I be so stupid? But you will see just how stupid I was. Or was I?

an almost decade old story. * "one tragedy changed their lives." a story with dialogues and minimal description, in which a boy ends up in the hospital after a car accident and his friend slowly collapsing under the weight of his tortured mind. but what actually happened that one fateful night and what other secrets will be unraveled? * two main male pov's, recognizable through italics and normal text. a story written unlike any other. i hope you'll find comfort in it just as much as i have. be aware that this is a realistic story. * slow-burn start, but it picks up. don't let the number of chapters fool you; the average reading time for each is less than a minute . i came up with the story of the two friends when i was still quite young and i'm by no means a writer, so it deeply apologize if it sucks ass. feel free to vote and comment or point out any spelling mistakes or confusing paragraphs. it needs some editing and possibly some small changes or added chapters for clarity and better character development, but as for now, this first completed story will do. original story: around 2014. first upload: 2020. re-upload: 2023.
