This poem is a project I did for school. It is a memoir in the form of a poem.
It describes an experience on a frozen lake in the winter from the perspective of myself.

Through poetry, this is the story of a boy traveller who once asked the stars for someone and then had a defining beginning. Now, his past begins to be a companion that torments him and leaves him without strength. There comes a time when the ice beneath you breaks and falls no matter what effort you make. Everything in it freezes, the darkness makes way, silence is the only thing there is and continues to fall to the point of being forgotten. An enemy appears and is the strongest to face. A Day in the Life of the Human Race (Poetry Volume I)
This book is completely random and contains all different kinds of free-verse poetry. ❅ I don't even know where some of these came from, but are pieces of writing somehow developed from the pits of my consciousness that make me wonder what the hell is even going on in there. ❅ I can't even fully make sense of the things I write, so this book is not neat and not strictly one thing, so if that's what you enjoy then by all means, go find something else. ❅ And these writing pieces are going to contradict each other in more ways than one. ❅ So decide to give it a read, or don't.
