Storm ran upstairs and locked the door, she ha d been gone all day. She brushed her red hair behind her ear, and quickly grabbed a coat to cover her frail sixteen year old body. Storm had always been tiny and now she was even tinier. During that night, Sky was worried about her sister, Storm. The hot sticky Septembers in the South, normally kept teens out late. The secretive night sky gave off a super thick miasma. Skylar paced back and forth in the small apartment home. Storm frantically ran into her room, crashing into her bed. Meanwhile, she tosses the purse across the room, crashing into her closet. She snatched open the bag. Storm loved the secret life. She also loved hiding form everyone and being a social idiot. Truly, everyone believed she liked hiding because of her parents difficult divorce. The pain felt hard when it needed expressing, so she loved hiding instead. At night, she'd disappear, mom didn't know why, but Skylar did. Sky knew about all their bullies at school. Mean girls that forced Storm to conform to them. Storm hid for no other reason, bu this. You could hear the door snap shut. See a ghost past you. And then hear the window alarm go off, that is the routine. In desperation, it's her only escape.
