Maplefoot's Story

Maplefoot ran. She ran as fast as her paws would let her. Her fur glistened with sweat. The ground, the trees, the sky: it was all ablaze. The flames licked at her heels, scorching her fur. Her heart pounded in her ears, drowning out the cries of the small bundle of fur she held in her mouth. The cries of the rest of the clan had long ago drowned out behind her, and she was suppressing her own-praying to Starclan, the Dark Forest- anyone willing to listen, that her brother and sister got out alive. Her tail streamed behind her as she leapt over a burning log, the kit screaming in protest.

Maplefoot and Whitekit have been through a lot together, and they will go through much more now that they have arrived at Nightclan. Little do they know that they will be thrown into an internal divide between the clan. Who will show their loyalty to the brave, and who will succumb to their inner darkness?
