"I'll come back, I promise" Luke kissed my forehead.
Our pinky fingers interlocked and we stared into each other's eyes for what seemed like eternity.
It wasn't until Michael yelled at Luke to "get in the flippin' car!" That we broke eye contact.
Sadness swept over me once again as I saw the boy who I loved more than anyone in the world step into the car and drive far, far away.

And that was 2 years ago, and Luke never came back.
