I really love Isayama's narrative style, but I think he could have done a much better job at showing how Eren feels about his newfound ability. I mean, the kid hates titans. One killed his mom. Others killed thousands more. They've trapped what (supposedly) remains of humanity within the walls. He's dedicated his life to obliterating every single one of them, and now suddenly he is one. I want to see his confusion, disgust, self-hatred, etc. conflicting with his new status as Humanity's Last Hope. I want to see how alone he feels, how it all seems so unreal, how much of a monster he thinks he is. Make me cry. Thread: http://snkkink.dreamwidth.org/2124.html?thread=2617932All Rights Reserved
