Preston is just living a normal life as a normal person, until he accidentally burns his house down. He then meets people like him, and is recruited into a group that calls itself Magyk, where they deal with other superhumans that could be threatening.

Six. Six survivors of many. A terrible blizzard, accompanied by a siege of mobs has left a village of youtubers dead. All except for the pack. Preston, Rob, Vikk, Lachlan, Mitch, and Jerome are the only ones who have survived the slaughter. With all of their friends dead and not many supplies to run with the group must work together to survive a harsh winter environment. As far as the eye can see snow covers the land and with blizzards constantly battering the boys it's no surprise one night when a pack of wolves attack they are separated into three groups of two players each. To make matters worse there seems to be endless challenges around every corner, ranging from mobs to natural disasters. Can the six reunite and find signs of life or will they freeze/starve to death in this barren wasteland? ~~~~~~~ Note: This is an AU where they look like their minecraft skins but human form. Also they used to live in a village with many other youtubers. It is real life but includes minecraft mechanics. Also this story is Vikklan, Poofless, and Merome but not in any direct way... Against all odds (The Pack)
When something does not go your way, or someone isn't doing something they way you want them to do it, the proper response is to calmly resolve the conflict. Find a compromise, and let it be done. What you should NOT do, is start a massive war between six kingdoms. Some were not quite satisfied with the way the Royal kingdom was governing their lives. And right under the kingdoms nose, rebel groups started to form, each with their own standards as to how the land should be run. These groups grew into organizations, and by the time the Royal kingdom realized what was going on, in the blink of an eye five new kingdoms arose. And it did not take long for these five rebel kingdoms declare war on not only the Royal kingdom itself... But each other as well. Everyone has their battles. Preston was diagnosed with cancer, leukemia, at 17 years old and 7 years later he was still battling it. He's almost never home, spending months upon end in hospital receiving treatment that is working less and less each time. Rob's parents never seemed to care about him but as he got older and became more independent, they became abusive. Nothing he could do was good enough for them. Mitch couldn't remember a time that he wasn't depressed, that he felt like he was alive. Treatment never seemed to work, meds only made him feel worse and the only thing that made him feel anything was bringing a blade to his skin. Jerome didn't know how the addiction started, but drugs had always been apart of his life. His parents were addicts so it seemed like fate that he would follow the same path, and now he didn't know if he could change. Vikk had turned to alcohol to lessen the pressure on him to succeed and now it was just apart of his life. He tried to hide it and got pretty good at it too, but he was sure that someone knew of his habit. He was drinking his life away. Lachlan was diagnosed with schizophrenia. The mania set in worse as more years passed to the point where he wasn't entirely sure what was real anymore.
