Lycel's breath fogged up in the cold winter air, and the girl could feel his warm hand on hers beside them. "Do you think it will snow?" The girl asked, her curious eyes full of happiness turned toward the sky. "I don't know." Lycel watched her face with an intense, but tender, look. "Julie.. Look.." He started, but then he hesitated, closing his eyes. "Yeah?" He opened them to see Julie looking at him with a small smile on her face.
"I've wanted you to know this for a while.." Lycel took a deep breath. "I know you've had a dark past and you've been hurt so many times before.. I want you to know that I'm always here for you. No matter what. I would do anything for you.
