As the coach's daughter, my dad was very protective of me as I was growing up I spent my summer at football camp. At the beginning of camp each year my dad showed the "Bad boy presentation." As I got closer to high school, I was number one on that list to not mess with or around with. For most part they followed it, at least until Matthew's senior year (except I started it and ended it). When we finally told my dad after I helped win the game, is the night my entire world changed. My died in an accident that was caused by a classmate of mine. 5 years have passed and Shani has graduated in her sports management and kinesiology degrees and has finally decided to move home. When she does, feelings resurface and new life changing situations challenge her. How will princess badass react to seeing how her father and ex are? What's happened in the last 5 years since she moved out fully? Does she get back to Mr. Quarterback or does life have something else planned for her? Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote.
