HOW TO WRITE A POEM Brought to you by ChlorineClouds Poems. It's a simple concept, really. Just think of a thought, and turn it into writing! It doesn't have to rhyme, don't worry. Let's write one! About... Clocks, I guess. Clocks tell time, except for when they're broken, right? We take this idea and multiply it, having each thought slightly different. So this is an example. Clocks. Broken clocks. Broken clocks in a clock store. Broken clocks in a timeless world. I like the last one. So you expand on that idea. Maybe the timeless world is just a figment of your imagination. Maybe it's a dream or something. Maybe it takes place after an incident. You could take it anywhere if you want to. When you find your ideas and figured out a good way to write them down, just use a style of writing and formatting, and BAM! You're done! Formats may include, but are not limited to, \\ //, <>,==,••,[]. We'll be using the book's format. Ready? Okay. \\ broken and destroyed preserved in the debris of the rubble - the clock strikes twelve for the fifth time today as it gets crushed by the ruins // Was that easy or what? Now that you know how to write a poem, do it!

Hurt and frightened and no where to turn except for my journal. Curse words being streamed at me and you would have thought I had a father for a sailor. ~E.M.C Many poems focusing on the subject of Mental Illness, that many suffer with and the subject just isn't brought up enough. Poems focusing on a day in the shoes of a person with a mental illness and how some even ordinary simple tasks may seem not so simple to them. There may be some uplifting poems but also raw ones filled with real emotions, things I've experienced. \\ Notes from me the poet: Some aren't all poems I guess you could say but these are my feelings and maybe some of you can relate :) feel free to comment or message me with any questions, feedback or suggestions I greatly appreciate anything!
