For better or for worse my life changed completely. I use to be the type of girl to never be afraid to try new things, meet new people and explore my surroundings. I had such a bright future ahead of me, but with time I could slowly feel that same future slip away from my fingers.
My life went from a fairy tale to a nightmare in a flash of an eye. Mama was right, boys only distracted you from becoming your best self... I should have listen to her.
At this point there's a lot of things I wish I would have done. Seeing my life through my floating spirit above my human body was something a 16 year old girl shouldn't be feeling. Feeling the wrath of death and the sins of the world was not something I ever that I'd feel. I lay my aching body to rest on this cold ground as I wait for someone to save me.
No one back home would have ever thought Cassie Villanueva would become something she never wanted to be. In fact, if I was back home,m everything would have been ok. Thinking about it made it worse, was it pain for the memories I could not return to? Or where they pains from the tenderness of the bruises around my body?
At this point it was all a blur.
