Everyone in Beacon Hills knew about Hale House fire. They knew it had killed all but four members of the entire family, who then disappeared without a trace. They knew that six years later, Laura Hale's body was found in the woods, and Derek and Ginger returned to town. They knew the animal attacks started soon after.
They knew.
No one in Beacon Hills knew about the arson. They didn't know it left Peter Hale in a coma, and that the three siblings had to run for their lives. They didn't know that Laura returned to town to find those responsible for the fire, or that she was killed for her power, and Derek and Ginger had returned to avenge her. Remaining both physically & mentally intact within the confines of Beacon Hills wasn't always a struggle for Rachel Hale.
