„Pamätám si keď som mala 7 rokov a zomrel mi otec. Bolo pól druhej ráno keď mama strašne hlasno kričala: „Nathan, preber sa! Zlato! Počuješ ma?! No tak sa preber!" Po tomto už nič nepovedala, plakala. 
Otec sa neprebral. Zaspal včera a dnes sa už nezobudil.
Hneď ako prišla záchranka mama utekala ku mne do izby, silno ma objala a povedala, že ma veľmi ľúbi.  Vysvetlila mi, že otec už musel odísť. Bolo to zvláštne aký krátky čas bol so mnou a už musel ísť preč. Zrazu som bola iba ja a mama. Všetko sa utíchlo, pochovali sme otca a odišli do Paríža. Mama mi hovorievala, že keď odídeme bude nám lepšie. Neviem. Dnes mám 17, chodím na strednú umenia a mama si našla prácu, ktorá ju veľmi baví. No ešte od otcovej smrti nikdy nepovedala, že je tu lepšie."All Rights Reserved
