Some said a book was an adventure awaited to be found and discovered; some stated a book would enchant you and brought you to an unknown abyss with ease; some mentioned a book would change your life forever. What if a book was actually a mean to somewhere else beyond your imagination? And the only thing you could and couldn't do was run away from it.

Thea, a reader living her own happy life, found herself in a totally different one just moments after she received the last genuine smile she saw on Linda's face. 

From that moment onwards, she'd be constantly struggling between two options. Or rather, the only one she had.

I finally reached my apartment panting and shut the door sliding down my door crying hysterically, I could still feel his cold lips on me. What did I just witness tonight. What did I get myself into. I was scared of the future because I knew surely he would be back to check on his Queen. Because of that woman she did not stop suffering, wherever she went she suffered verbal or physical abuse and everything was orchestrated by this woman; she didn't know until she was about to faint.
