Life isn't easy for a growing, 16 year old, black girl. School, family, friends, she's trying to get her life together, before it even begins.

This is no love story. It's about maturity, and perseverance. It's about making something out of absolutely nothing. Investing in one's self, and depending on no one. Not even those that been with you your entire life.

That doesn't mean that along the journey, you cannot make fun of a serious situation once in a while. 

Join us as we watch our dear June, bloom into adulthood. From torturous dares, to life changing decisions.
