●This story is a Carl Grimes X Reader●

"You stared at him with the same expression written on your own face. "Y/N... You're alive..." He stared towards you with disbelieve in his eyes."

You're a lone survivor in the world that went to hell shortly after you and your best friend went to school that morning. After everything went down, you were alone through it all, expecting everyone to be dead and gone. You fought and fought, running around trying to find something but you never expected to find him ever again.
It was definitely ... A Day to Remember

Sam: I was raised the way that teaches you to be selfless. That's what I was doing my whole life. Taking care of my little brother when my parents couldn't or didn't want to, helping with chores, working, doing my best at school so I don't embarrass my family name, following my father's dreams and mothers expectations. Everything for them, to satisfy them, to please them. No one was ever satisfied with me though, I'm never good enough for no one. So as usual I bought a drink to reward myself for a once again perfect score on the exam. One drink turns into five and I find myself following some guy with pretty eyes. What I didn't know is that next time we meet I'm not going to be the one drunk and it's not going to be the last time I see him either. Quite the opposite, he'll manage to turn my life upside down, ruining it completely, and only the end of the world will be able to fix all of it. Daryl: When I was younger I used to think I was born with a curse in my blood, but then I understood that life is just a bitch. From my mother's death to surviving under my father's thumb and then jumping under Merle's. Whole my life I stood neck deep in shit, be it bird shit, my own shit or my family's. Every day is a stupid fight to not drown in that pool of shit, and for years the only thing keeping me floating were drugs and alcohol. But then, this bloody sunshine dropped into my life. After all the years of violence and roughness I grew to crave him like a secret drug. His gentle touch, his unconditional love and care. As much as my scarred soul craves it, this thing between us is crossing all the lines and breaking all the rules I knew. So I drown in ecstasy and weed even more, trying to figure myself out, so lost in my own bullshit that I didn't notice that his perfect life isn't as good as he says it is, and when I finally open my eyes, he's gone. He's fucking gone, and world is too, or at least the way we knew it.

The world didn't end in a bang. The world didn't end in a whisper. Instead, it ended one scream at a time. "You okay?" I heard someone say. I quickly stood up and held my cross bow out in front of me pointing it where the voice came from. "Woah, woah, put the cross bow down." I finally see the boy who was speaking, he looked about my age he has dark brown hair and ocean blue eyes. He wore a blue flannel and a brown cowboy hat. His eyes just made me melt, no, no Ava focus. I stared him down but he stared right back. "Just put it down, no one has to get hurt." I didn't listen to him I just kept aiming at his head. "What's your name?" The boy asked me. I don't understand why he keeps talking to me. I haven't listened. I just stared at him not able to even speak. "You don't talk much huh?" He asked. I just continued to stare at this boy. "Just put the weapon down and we can talk, I promise I won't hurt you." "Give me your gun." I said referring the gun he had in his holster. He pulled it out of his holster. "Put it on the ground in front of you." He did as I said and put it on the ground. "Kick it over here." I commanded. He again did what I asked and kicked the gun towards me. I swiftly bent down, never talking my eyes off the boy in the hat and picked up his gun. "You got anything else?" I asked. "You want to check?" He asked with a smirk plastered on his face. I rolled my eyes at this immature boy. "Do ya or no?" I asked getting frustrated. "I'm not telling you have to check." He told me the smirk never leaving his face. ~.~.~ When the world turns to shit, you learn not to trust anyone. Ava however is not like most people, she saw the good in Carl Grimes that day. She learns more from Carl and his group then she ever did out there. She learns that you need more then food and water and weapons, you need allies, you need friends that could just turn into family. It's not just about surviving anymore.

"You miss him, don't you?" "I don't miss him." "Yeah, okay." "I'm serious. He broke my heart why should I forgive his ass?" "Your saying that now. But it's only the first day without him. Pretty soon you won't even know what to do with yourself. I know you two. You love him and he loves you. You don't know what you have until it's gone." --This is the sequel to Is Love Really Worth Dying For? I do not recommend this book for kids under 13 seeing as this book will include violence, suicidal thoughts, and swearing. Hope you enjoy it :3 Started: Nov. 30, 2015
