Just when life becomes perfect for Percy, it takes a turn for the worst when a new enemy comes forth from the deepest, darkest part of Tartarus. On top of that, he has to worry about the Gods champion, a mortal girl that has no clue about her destiny and the life that she does not know exists.
What can Percy and this mysterious girl do to stop the evil forces that are older that time itself? Will they be able to stop said forces? Will they fight together as one, or will they stay bitter towards each other and not see the consequences of their constant bantering?
How is his new best friend, Kyle, apart of any of this? What secrets is he hiding?
And what does Hades have to do with all of this?
