"I was searching for everything and nothing at the same time, I never thought I would find it" Britt Robinson doesn't have much. She has a mom that drinks too much, a house that is slowly falling apart, pictures of her cheating ex boyfriend, and a painful past. That is pretty much it. But that all changes when she gets a phone call from her old high school art teacher about a job opportunity at Sunny Coopers Summer Camp as a cabin leader. Unable to refuse the offer, Britt packs her bags in hopes of escaping her past and finding something like love to build her future.

Camp Silverlake was like an escape from reality. Nestled in the between a large forest and barren fields , the campsite stood far away from civilization. Everybody came for different reasons but they all wanted the same thing. An escape from their life back home. Stella Viotto was expecting a summer of fun when her best friend, Rose, suggested they become summer camp counselors at Camp Silverlake. She never expected to cross paths with their school's golden boy, Hayden Carter. He was every girl's dream. He had the good looks, the popularity, and was athletic. He was a known heart breaker and the biggest player at their school. When Hayden met Stella, he couldn't help but become intrigued by her. How had he never noticed her before at school? As they are forced to spend more time together, feelings evolve, hearts are broken, and new romance and friendships are formed in those short little summer months. But would it last after summer ends?
