This girl had a free spirit and a wild soul, and was set to have a great life, until something began. Something dark, something cold, something so blindly evil and despicable that will live in history forever.

Grown men won't even go anywhere near the notorious 'Devil's Hanging' Bridge, named because of all the witch hangings in 1692. Donna, a ten year old girl who lives there isn't deterred by the stories of the bridge, so she makes her way across it... or almost does anyway. It isn't until a near death experience and a terrifying encounter with a demon that she starts to realize that the stories were true... or half true. After striking an interesting connection with the demon she starts to realize that maybe they aren't so different from humans, and that maybe the stories she's been fascinated with her whole life aren't telling the whole tale. You can learn about TW's and other stuff in the preface. I hope you enjoy:) Also yes I know there are tiny grammatical and spelling errors in this book. And yes I am too lazy to change them. Who Was She?
In the 1930s, in a highschool called Ashford Academy. A journalist by the name Esther Charlene shares her experiences at the school. Esther was an interesting one. She always hated school, until sudden mysterious death's happened in the school. She never made a lot of friends, since she wasn't a fan of the friendship thing. Later on she befriends a girl named Heather Marlene. As Esther's friendship grows, what will it grow to? What is Heather Marlene to Esther? To continue, There was a girl whose nose never stopped bleeding. Rumors always filled the school, like a virus. Nobody knows who the girl really is. Esther calls her ' sakodo' but she was given the name slit-faced girl by the people who saw her. But those people that feared or saw her died the next day. Why do people die the same? How do people die? Most importantly, what killed them? One day the girl suddenly disappears. Nobody knows where. A few days after she disappeared, all that was left of her was forgotten. Nobody knew who she was. All traces of her were gone. What really happened to that girl? What was her name? Where did she disappear to? What was the girl's backstory? As the story unfolds. The truths are exposed. Nobody knows. Not even you. (Some chapters may be short so I apologize! I wrote this story a while back and never posted it or shared it, so again I apologize for the short chapters but I sadly won't add more to the short chapters so bare with me 😅)Complete
