Hannah is a young nurse who has seen many children die. Kelsey is one of the many unwanted who will die from the Harvesting. After the war on what to do over the unwanted, abused, or neglected children of the United States, the country fell apart. Newhaven was founded under a compromise where children who are not wanted will be sent to Wilson Camp where, when they turn eighteen, are Harvested- their internal organs are removed and given away to those in need. Hannah refuses to watch anymore Harvestees die, so when she gets assigned to be a nurse to Kelsey and to help her through her Harvesting and death, she refuses to let another one go. Together they do something drastic and end up starting a revolution that will shake the country and the world forever. *Note: this was inspired partly by other books and movies.
