Lynette Cooper is a witch. She never knew what she was, though, but she always saw yellow lights surrounding people. But the worst night of her life, the night everything for her changes, she loses that ability. Now a year later, she’s come to terms with the loss of her sister, Alice, but she can’t bring herself to believe that it was suicide, like the newspapers all say.
While living with her aunt Jane, and her cousins, Chloe and Kai, she hasn’t yet discovered her powers, and she probably never will. Now, after a year without seeing her familiar lights, she meets Shane Adams, and suddenly the lights are back. Shane may have answers for her, but should Lynn trust him? After all, he has his own secrets. But he isn't a witch like her.
