'“Why did you bring me on this date? Did you lose a bet? I know you would never date me out of free will. ” She says with a soft voice.

“Umm.. it’s kind of a long story.”

“It’s not like I could go anywhere”, she says signalling to all the water surrounding us.

"Well, um, I kissed you because my mother wants me to date a nice, normal girl –like you. I have disappointed her a lot in the past and I thought this would be a good way to show her that I changed. But I guess, I’ll just go back to disappointing her now you know.”

“Why? Nothing has to change now I know.”

"So you don’t care that I used you?”

She smiles a little. “I expected way worse, and besides I really like your mother so it’s not like I’m doing it for you.”

“But-”, Sophia says before he could say something. “-I do want you to do something for me in return.”

“I want you to make my life exciting, I want you to make me popular.” She says without meeting my gaze one second.

Although he has no idea what he is getting in to, he grins and shakes her hand. “Deal.”'

This is the start of a weird summer with a lot of changes.
