Emily Cane was getting her mail like she does every morning when all of a sudden she hears crying in her front porch bush. She walks over and finds a baby girl who can't be no more than three months old.Emily decided to take her inside. An amazing month goes by and Emily falls in love with the baby girl who she named Ruby. But what happens when papers go out saying a baby girl who was three months old and is now four months old has gone missing from her family and Emily realizes that Ruby is the missing baby but what she doesn't get is how such a beautiful baby can end up in some random persons bush. The question is will Emily run with Ruby or will she confront to public and if so will she fight for Ruby

When a woman, commonly known as Ruby,among other things, mistakenly stumbles upon a marine base in the hopes of raiding an army compound,she's in for a rude awakening. Ruby is soon thrown into a 24-hour surveillance, Greg, a marine officer at this said marine compound, being her guard until they decide what they want to do with the criminal and her accomplices. Eventually, the marines see her as a friend instead of a foe, and choose to take her under their wing and hire her, yet when things begin to look up for Ruby and the Marine Officer, their situation takes a turn for the worst and grows grim... what will happen next? and will the two be able to travel The Distance?
