All light is drained from the world, only leaving lamps to the good. The shadows hold unrelenting evil, ready to strike whoever is "brave" enough to leave the comfort of their never draining lights. However that doesn't stop thousands from trying. Can it be possible for one human to see into the darkness and find the prophesied exit? Or will it just turn into an urban legend.

Every night, I've looked out my window, just watching for it. They say the monster you see is better than the monster you don't. But, no one who's seen this monster has been able to describe it for us. No one's survived to. For some reason though, I can't help but look. "We caused the end of the world. Turns out it's easier than you might think it is. All you need is a group of eco anarchists and an ounce of magic, and the world goes down in a poof." After another manic episode, Phoenix gets written off his parents' will, and he's trying to find a reason to keep living. Causing the end of the world and being the only one who can save the world wasn't exactly what he had in mind. Phoenix wasn't meant to have magical abilities, and he most definitely shouldn't have been able to make all the money in the world disappear just by thinking about it. To make matters worse, it came with a minor side effect: a disease called Gold fever. In other words, people started to turn into gold. Over the course of a single day, Phoenix becomes the most hated person in the world. As the economy collapses around them, only three of his friends are willing to stay by his side. Their job is to keep Phoenix alive while he tries to make money reappear and find a cure to Gold fever. Which turns out to be more challenging than they thought, as they find out someone is tailing Phoenix with the intention to kill.Complete

However along this millennia of repeated villains and heroes new tradition have been set in place for the Elementals. Traditions that restrain even addressing each other by name. And when Derik the Destroyer arises, conquering kingdoms and towns alike, they don't know if it can be stopped. Will the new chosen hero be enough? Or will fate gather together a band of worthy heroes and defy the Elementals 'sacred' tradition, to banish the shadows from their land? How will Sara, a normal teenager nearing adulthood, face this most fearsome foe? You'll just have to see for yourself.Complete

People form teams to attempt finding the thing, to destroy all life they see as unnecessary, they further trick and murder each other to get what they want, including the thing... Each color determines what role they will do as a ghost, and how bad their life was, starting from red to black. But one female ghost doesn't have one, she has all of the colors. So she can do any of the roles she desires. Even come back to life. But everybody can see her. They Just can't touch her. So she decides to stay a ghost.
