There was this girl. She was different from everyone else and she didn't know why. She was constantly made fun of and teased for her looks. She had dark brown hair and dark blue eyes just like her father (as far as she knew). She always wore her necklace of a dragon eye everyday. She didn't know why but when she didn't have it she just felt empty. One day at school she colapsed. When she got home she fell asleep on the couch. Then at that moment everything seemed unreal like a dream. I dream full of fairies nymphs and dragons but yet it felt all so real. Until the day she discovered who she really was.

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote.
