What would you do if you found yourself back in the same town you lost your family in six years ago? Would you cry? Scream? Hold it your feelings? Or maybe do a little of all.
Brittany Johnston is in that very situation. Six years ago she lost her family in the Hale fire. After that night she was left in the care of Derek and wore she would never return to that god forsaken town.
Yet, here she is, back in Beacon Hills, looking for who or what, killed Laura.
Now she is faced with problems as her long time friend Scott is a new werewolf and a homicidal Alpha wants him apart of his pack. It's up to Derek and Brittany to try to help him.
Think it can't get any worse? Oh, it can.
She gets haunting flashbacks of the fire and has to try to keep her feelings in check.
Brit's not alone though, she's got Derek, her life long best friend and Mate to help her through it all.
Except, he doesn't realize it yet. Or does he?
No mater what happens these two seem to keep getting closer.
