Do not wake kids up

It is almost two rounds of the second quarter in Truffalo. The dawn is breaking on the horizon, but it has got nothing to do with you, sunnies. Try to rest when your masters need time to share some of their own secrets.

A short story related to my big (and still unfinished) original project about magic, space and cosmic railways. This particular extract is not quite related to any of the main storylines, it's more like a filler X) so i think i can upload it separately now.
By the way, it can tell you about some basic features of the Universe i'm working on and give you some general impression of it. :)

Before you ask:
-The Wizard is a woman, though this noun is more masc
-Rounds, quarters and sweeps are time measures used in Truffalo, a town where the Wizard resides.
-The Wizard's speech is supposed to be heavily grammatically incorrect.
-The Jeweller mentions his past experience of being too harsh and strict to his apprentice and now he regrets it.
-The Wizards refers to everyone as "sunny", the Jeweller prefers calling people "kid" or "lass".
-Four Mages are four entities who, basically speaking, rule the Universe (or, in some way, they ARE the Universe). I've got a lot of stuff about them which is to be finished and edited. Stay tuned C:
-Matt and Matsui are part-time the Wizard's and the Jeweller's apprentices, full-time ordinary human kids. More stuff about them will be here one day. (well, I hope so.)
