As the holidays approach, the Adams family arrives at Winter Park, a ski resort that has become their tradition for the past three years. The family welcomes the the next seven days with family and fun with excitement. 

But...

As Blakley, an eighteen year old avid reader, spends the day in the lodge as her family skis, she's left trapped as the snowfall picks up leaving no way for her to reach her cabin. Without knowing how long she has to stay at the lodge,  Blakley finds ways to pass the time.
