"I'm not scared of you," she said to him, letting out a shaky breath. He inched towards her with hooded eyes, the veins under them becoming prominent as his fangs elongated.
"You should be."
When Aria Sheffield has to help her best friend with the grief of the loss of her parents, she is reminded of her own parent's suspicious death only years earlier. The haunting images of their bloody bodies stick in Aria's worst nightmares, and it doesn't help when the new guy brings in a bunch of secrets that could eventually lead to the truth.
