Ever since the barrier was broken and monsters rose to the surface once more, it seemed like despite the odd reception that they received from the Humans of Ebott, everything was starting to take a turn for the better. But almost a year later, the others couldn't help but notice something different...specifically...SANS was different. The usual laid-back, wise-cracking skeleton was acting...strange. His smile was forced, he didn't tell jokes, he's deprived of sleep, and the demons that were thought to have been put to bed ages ago keep rising back to the surface to torment him. It was no secret anymore. Something was wrong...VERY wrong...but what?

Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? The feeling that something wasn't right, of course, this timeline was already incredibly strange. The feeling sat in his in the pit of his stomach, tying itself into knots, until that fateful rainy day when all of his questions would be answered. Because of the sickness, Sans stayed still on the bed, just laying down or sitting on it under the blanket. The sickness can be seen from his face, half of his white skull was a little bit darker than the rest. Gaster and Papyrus had no idea what kind of illness Sans has, but they decided to take care of him no matter what, hoping that the sickness will soon gone either because of the medicines Gaster gave him, or disappears itself.
