Jana has fought for her freedom and now she must learn to enjoy life, because now she's not a uniform and a number anymore.
At the rehab center where Jana has been placed, there are nineteen others in her unit. Some are war vets like her, others experienced trauma, a few were abused, and some more were taken hostage during the war.
After a few weeks there, though, Unit 479C starts wondering about their "mom", who takes care of them and begins their therapy.
Jon, or "Mom", is a worker at the rehab center. He does his job so well that his subjects begin to wonder about his past and why he hasn't told them anything about himself that happened before he was taken in by the center years ago.
Jana can't resist prodding him, so eventually she gives in to her curiosity and starts doing some research.
