In Columbia, South Carolina, Malia Ellison was born on the Cyrus Plantation in 1855. She has been through many trials and tribulations in her lifetime, but they only made her stronger. When her and her family gets attacked, she finds unexpected peace and love from where she is headed. Though the death of some loved ones hold her back, she still pushes to find her way home.
