In an honorable decision to save someone else, Mags volunteered for the 75th Hunger Games. But that was not the first time she'd ever entered those games. In the 19th ever, a name was pulled in District Four, the name of a poor, fisherman's daughter. A name unknown to many of the society's citizens, but a name nonetheless.

The daughter of the games by Kenzie_queen21
36 parts Complete Mature
In this Hunger Games fan fiction, we follow the story of Grace Frost, a 16-year-old girl from District 12 who was reaped for the 76th Hunger Games. Grace is not particularly skilled in hunting or combat, but she has a likable personality that makes her popular among her peers. Before leaving for the games, Grace asks Katniss, the winner of the 74th Hunger Games, to take care of her daughter, Faith Anderson, in case she does not make it back. Katniss agrees to the request, knowing all too well the pain of losing loved ones in the games. The 76th Hunger Games are unique in that they are taking place during a time of increasing rebellion against the Capitol. As the games progress, Grace realizes that she has become a symbol of hope for the people, much like Katniss did in the previous games. She uses her popularity and charm to win the support of other tributes and the Capitol audience. Meanwhile, Katniss and other rebels are working behind the scenes to support Grace and use her as a symbol to rally more people to their cause. They know that the Capitol will do everything in their power to prevent a repeat of the 74th games, where a tribute from District 12 emerged victorious. As the games come to a close, Grace finds herself facing off against another tribute from District 12, a tribute who has been trained specifically to take her down. It's a tense and brutal battle, but in the end, Grace manages to emerge victorious, becoming the first tribute from District 12 to win the Hunger Games twice. However, the victory is bittersweet, as Grace is haunted by the deaths of her father and James Anderson, the father of her daughter, and she knows that the Capitol will not take her defiance lightly. With the help of Katniss and other rebels, Grace begins to plan her next moves, knowing that the fate of her daughter and the entire district is at stake.

34 parts Complete Mature

The odds had never been in the Fairkin family's favor. When their only daughter, Marilla, was reaped for the 51st Hunger Games, survival seemed impossible-yet she became the victor. Months later, she was found dead, just days after giving birth to her daughter, Mira. Now, for the 69th Hunger Games, history repeats itself as Mira is reaped. Unlike her mother, Mira lacks combat training and is only skilled in fishing. Sheltered and innocent, how could a girl like her stand a chance? In the crowd, a familiar pair of green eyes watches with solemn resolve. Finnick Odair knows that only he can help Mira now, but the odds are stacked high. With the Capitol's merciless gaze upon them, the clock begins to count down to Mira's fight for survival-and the tide threatens to pull her under. In uncharted waters, survival is anything but certain.
