Hunger Games
In an honorable decision to save someone else, Mags volunteered for the 75th Hunger Games. But that was not the first time she'd ever entered those games. In the 19th ever, a name was pulled in District Four, the name of a poor, fisherman's daughter. A name unknown to many of the society's citizens, but a name nonetheless. -------Idea Derived From "The Hunger Games" By Suzanne Collins; Character "Mags" by Suzanne Collins------

The Hunger Games is a grueling and horrific annual event in Suzanne Collin's dystopian series of the same name. Atlas Duncain is a District 4 sailor with an abnormally high IQ who has lived his entire life alone. Just as it seems his life is becoming a hard won and comfortable routine, fate casts him into the limelight when he finds himself the one person in all of District 4 unlucky enough to be unwillingly selected for The 35th Hunger Games. Having grown up an orphan with only his wits, bizarrely high intelligence, and a steel forged will born out of years of hardship and isolation to help him survive, this fifteen year old cynic decides he may actually have a chance at winning this year's games. But Atlas slowly realizes to his horror that maybe coming back alive isn't the same thing as surviving...
