*similar to a prior story of mine called Lonely Wolf* Jacob cares for nothing. He hasn't since Renesmee left him, one day deciding he wasn't good enough. When he meets Ruby, a girl in a similar situation, he realises just how fragile life can be when your heart is in a thousand pieces. But is he too late?
