At the age of two, Teagan lost her mother. She didn't know why and, 14 years later, still doesn't. All she knows is that for those 14 years, her dad, older brother, and pack have blamed her. After a while, she started to blame herself too. She took the abuse quietly, and let them dictate her life. But one day, she just fought back. She was sick and tired of all their crap. She was done being the small, weak, pathetic mistake. She left the pack, hoping to life her life by herself. But, of course, that didn't happen. She ran into vampires, and not just any vampires. No, Teagan just so happened to stumble upon the King's land. When she's taken back to the King, she expects nothing but death. What she gets is so much more.
