❝My life has always leant towards the 'slightly pathetic' side of life. I mean, I'm 27 and I'm still waiting for a miracle of sorts. Still holding out for Prince Charming to come save me from my agonizingly mundane life. Nothing ever happens to me.❞

Rose is holding out for something; she doesn't know what it is, or even if it's worth waiting, but she's knows it's all she's ever wanted. Her life is terribly boring, and while she tries to distract herself with running her gay brother's café-meets-book shop and controlling her flatmate's short temper, nothing can truly stop her from realizing she's done nothing productive with her life. Rose is tired of sitting on the sidelines and desperately wants her time to shine, so when she meets the strange and slightly autistic Ben, her world turns upside down. The only problem is that if you stay upside down for too long, all the blood rushes to your head.
