Nuclear Wasteland

A government experiment on a newfound species of replicating bacteria goes terribly wrong, when a test subject for this bacteria transforms into a black hound-looking monster that can form tentacles out of its back and crush almost anything, called Specters. Taking advantage of America's vulnerability due to this new threat, many enemy nations fire their nuclear weapons on America and destroy 98% of all of its population. One percent being normal survivors. The other percent, very disgustingly mutated psychopaths who have turned cannibal, called creeps. Jeremiah is one of the normal ones, looking only for a place to survive. Can he find a place for himself and his family when all of America is either covered in nuclear radiation, or inhabited by Specters and Creeps?
