You see Rebecca was a young helpless girl who lived on ranch in Texas. Her father was old and fat and all he did was get drunk every day, he got drunk to hide his sorrow when Rebecca's mother died. Everyday since the death Rebecca and her two older brother's had to take care for him and for themselfs, they assigned jobs between the three of them Rebecca did the cooking, Thomas did the cleaning and the oldest Ethan was taking care of their father which was the hardesst job.
