I saw Nick leaning on our tree with a bag by his side. I ran up to him and hugged him, trying to persuade him not to make me swim. I told him I felt life I'd been followed the entire way here but he just said it was paranoia starting to kick in because it's dark and late. I believed him, and so we got changed and ran into lake, hand in hand.
