DISCLAIMER
hi, everything till "invasion" was written a few years ago when my angst was really budding and finding room for expression... in other words it's a 13 year old's world, where she just found her voice and is (very) rusty at using it.
I'm still keeping the poetry and not deleting any parts, although I want to, as the book showcases a journey - my journey - that I like to revisit at times.
Every thing post "invasion" is written by a current sixteen year old still trying to achieve the same things with a different approach
Even the book cover has my 13 year old username on it, please don't mind it. Not that the current one is any better. Bear with me, thank you :)

My Girl
Cal Jackson's new life as a rockstar fails to account for one thing: the existence of the girl he loves. ***** "What are you thinking about?" she asks. "A song," I say. "A new song." I prefer to live through the romance stories I weave and post online. Hardly anyone reads my books, even if they're free, but I do have one fan, and he's supported me since I started writing two years ago. Except, my writing started to take a depressing dive when I realized that you simply couldn't prevent nor protect your heart from falling for someone. For him. For the one who had no interest in me. When I fell in love with him, I thought we had a chance. It was an accident. Turned out, I couldn't be more wrong. He doesn't want me, and I wasn't supposed to have him. Book Two of Five in the New Beginnings Series. **You do NOT have to read Inhale, Exhale, & Breathe to enjoy these stories** SALEM LUNA: Does anyone ever feel like they're riding a mechanical bull that is never ending? No matter how many times you get thrown off the thing, you appear right back on it? No? Just me then? See, I have this best friend. Former. Best. Friend. It's taking my brain a while to get used to it. Whatever. I'm hopelessly in love with him, and I tried desperately to admit my feelings out loud. So, I did. Raven Fox told me not to love him, and the look he seared into my skin when he said it was now branded into my brain. Now we're on the university book club Christmas retreat. Who did I get roomed with? Raven because of course I was given the bird. The damn bird that didn't love me in return. Which would have been fine had he not looked like the idea disgusted him. Six months have gone by since that day, and our tension is growing with more animosity each second. Now, we're doing activities together, and Christmas is my favorite holiday. He's not screwing this up for me. After a snowstorm starts hitting, though, I end up stuck in the middle of nowhere, out of gas in my snowmobile. I'm terrified as the wind starts picking up and snow starts whipping my face. I thought he wasn't listening. That he didn't care. So, why did he become the one to save me? Why does he look so distraught? His words say one thing, but his eyes are telling me his words are lies. Raven is lying to me. He loves me. But he doesn't want me to love him. Art of Letting Go
" Let your heart grief, It's okay. It will heal eventually." Art of Letting Go captures the raw and authentic emotions of moments, a roller-coaster of feelings, and a definition of life to choose not to give up. This book was to give people a chance to relate themselves to the pages and dip themselves with emotions that involve grief, loss, heartache, abuse, and feeling lost in life. A glimpse of these pages may change someone's life by giving them purpose of hope and shed light in the darkest of their hearts. I wrote the "Art of Letting Go" about 3 years ago without an end because I never knew how to moved on from a chapter that felt like a never-ending cycle. I left the story feeling like it was untold. I found hope and my transfiguration in life to help others in search of the light again. In the experiences, challenges, and struggles that I faced over the years, I had to give this book an ending it deserved. We deserve closure, we deserve our voices and stories to be heard and to be told. After 3 years, I came back to finish a story that needed to be closed and a chapter in my life that needed to heal. I realized that I struggled to finish this because there were parts of myself that couldn't heal from the past. I struggled to break free from the pain and it always kept coming back. I was really lost at some point in life and I came back to re-reading my poems and reflected in them. I found pieces of myself, teaching me that I was already in the process of healing all along. I was fighting all this time. I was resilient from all the storms that I've endured. My point is, YOU are too. Whatever you are going through, your storms will wither away and you will find your ray of light again.Complete

Carter slowly walked towards me, butterflies swarming in my stomach, filling every inch of me. "Assi." he grabbed my wrists, and made me look at him. "Who was that song about?" "You know who." "Was it... about me?" "What would you say if it was?" I cocked my head to the side, our eyes staying connected with each other. "I wouldn't say." he moved closer to me, towering over by the slightest bit as his breath surrounded my every nerve. He leant down, took a sharp breath and connected our lips. - Astrid was a beautiful girl, who had lost her sense of who she was and where she belonged. She went through something traumatic at only 14, but no one noticed. She moved to Roseville for a fresh start with her best friend Kaitlyn by her side. But Carter notices. He was a "bad boy" with a heart of gold (ik it's clichΓ©) . He never let anything slip by him. He doesn't say anything as their personalities clash and they hate each other. You know what they say, there is a thin line between love and hate. Will these two step over the line? But sometimes, running away from your problems doesn't go down unnoticed. The very person Astrid ran away from is after her, and this time, the consequences will be worse. -- This is an enemies-friends-lovers book and they become friends early on because I find it difficult to write going from enemies to lovers so yeah. *unedited book* #1 in talent show (29/02/24)Complete

"I love you," Johnny murmured, clutching my wrist to the point I could not pull away no matter how much I tried. "Stop it," I snapped, "Stop saying that!" "But I do, I love you, I want you, I need you to remember," He was pleading now. "Stop, quit pretending-" "There is no pretending," Johnny said with absolute clarity. "I love you and I will love you until the day I die. You don't remember now, but you used to love me too Rosey. And I will love you until you love me again, even after I die, and if there is a life after this I will love you then, too." I stared at him as he poured his heart out; he was moving away, for once he wasn't trying to get me to love him. I was doing it myself. "Will you ever give up on this?" I asked. Johnny shrugged, "Someday, I suppose I'll give up, and sit in a rocking chair. But I'll probably be rocking fast, because I don't know what I'll do without you." ----------- Rosemarie Curtis' story has seemed to come to an end. Everything is lost. Nobody can forget. Nothing is the same. Now the gang seems to have to wrestle the past, rebuild on the ruins inside them. But sometimes life has a twisted way of bringing back something you've lost. For Rosemarie's story is just beginning. But there was no way the gang could scrape the earth clean, and keep thinking they could start again. Because even though Rosemarie is alive, her memories of the past are gone. Her mind had left them; she has now gone wild and wary. She remembers no feeling, no hurt, and no loving. Johnny must cope with losing his only love, while her thoughts swim between them, hidden under rocks, disappearing in weeds, and he fishes for them, dangling his own memories like bait and lures. But how can you love someone you don't remember loving? How can you remember something you don't want to remember? And how can the gang hold together when everything has fallen apart?Complete
Love Between Galaxies
Side story to Sing To My Heart. You don't need to read it first to understand the story but this is the more expanded story of the side love story from Out of This World. I just really liked this idea and I wanted to give it more of a story than just those few musical numbers. The original idea of the show was from @OneArtsyGamer03 Star crossed lovers is a trope as old as time. There are many stories based on this trope with all of them being referred to as a take on Romeo and Juliet. I never understood why this trope was popular or why there were many versions. Royal and Commoner. Human and Non-human. Rival clans. I always wonder why these are so popular. Not to mention they must be so sad if you actually lived through it. Growing up, I was never really allowed to leave my castle so I always read these stories. However I never would have expected to be living on my own. It's almost surreal but I know better. After all, not all stories get a happy ending. And who's to say mine will get one.Complete
