Description: it's a book of poems, I'm not sure what else to say

DISCLAIMER 
hi, everything till "invasion" was written a few years ago when my angst was really budding and finding room for expression... in other words it's a 13 year old's world, where she just found her voice and is (very) rusty at using it.

I'm still keeping the poetry and not deleting any parts, although I want to, as the book showcases a journey - my journey - that I like to revisit at times.

Every thing post "invasion" is written by a current sixteen year old still trying to achieve the same things with a different approach 

Even the book cover has my 13 year old username on it, please don't mind it. Not that the current one is any better. Bear with me, thank you :)

"I've been burned once, who is to say it will not happen again" I spoke quietly watching her closely. Grace confused me like no other she wormed her way into my heart with her easy-going smiles, kind nature, and gentle heart. Feeling her small hands hold my large ones I glance down into her green eyes "You need to trust that I am not Mia have I not proven to you Cassian, I am here to stay you fit with me" she said in a gentle yet firm tone. Grace Bauer is an art historian with her own little gallery where she brings long-forgotten pieces of beauty back to life. She too had been burned so when she hears of this bar and grill opening up she knows her friends are just dying to try it out. What both of these souls don't realize is that once thrown in each other's paths they soon realize that maybe just maybe they are what the other half needs in one another. It may take a little more convincing on Cassian's part but can he take that leap of faith and trust Grace. All rights are reserved names of places mentioned in this book are all real places however the story line and names of the characters are all from my own ideas. Please do not copy my story under any given circumstances as I do not want to have to take legal action but I will if required. "I love you," Johnny murmured, clutching my wrist to the point I could not pull away no matter how much I tried. "Stop it," I snapped, "Stop saying that!" "But I do, I love you, I want you, I need you to remember," He was pleading now. "Stop, quit pretending-" "There is no pretending," Johnny said with absolute clarity. "I love you and I will love you until the day I die. You don't remember now, but you used to love me too Rosey. And I will love you until you love me again, even after I die, and if there is a life after this I will love you then, too." Art of Letting Go captures the raw and authentic emotions of moments, a roller-coaster of feelings, and a definition of life to choose not to give up. This book was to give people a chance to relate themselves to the pages and dip themselves with emotions that involve grief, loss, heartache, abuse, and feeling lost in life. A glimpse of these pages may change someone's life by giving them purpose of hope and shed light in the darkest of their hearts. I wrote the "Art of Letting Go" about 3 years ago without an end because I never knew how to moved on from a chapter that felt like a never-ending cycle. I left the story feeling like it was untold. I found hope and my transfiguration in life to help others in search of the light again. In the experiences, challenges, and struggles that I faced over the years, I had to give this book an ending it deserved. We deserve closure, we deserve our voices and stories to be heard and to be told. After 3 years, I came back to finish a story that needed to be closed and a chapter in my life that needed to heal. I realized that I struggled to finish this because there were parts of myself that couldn't heal from the past. I struggled to break free from the pain and it always kept coming back. I was really lost at some point in life and I came back to re-reading my poems and reflected in them. I found pieces of myself, teaching me that I was already in the process of healing all along. I was fighting all this time. I was resilient from all the storms that I've endured. My point is, YOU are too. Whatever you are going through, your storms will wither away and you will find your ray of light again.

Side story to Sing To My Heart. You don't need to read it first to understand the story but this is the more expanded story of the side love story from Out of This World. I just really liked this idea and I wanted to give it more of a story than just those few musical numbers. The original idea of the show was from @OneArtsyGamer03 Star crossed lovers is a trope as old as time. There are many stories based on this trope with all of them being referred to as a take on Romeo and Juliet. I never understood why this trope was popular or why there were many versions. Royal and Commoner. Human and Non-human. Rival clans. I always wonder why these are so popular. Not to mention they must be so sad if you actually lived through it. Growing up, I was never really allowed to leave my castle so I always read these stories. However I never would have expected to be living on my own. It's almost surreal but I know better. After all, not all stories get a happy ending. And who's to say mine will get one.
